About Course

The Level 4 Diploma in Early Learning and Childcare is an Ofqual-regulated qualification designed to develop the knowledge and practical skills required to work effectively in early years education and childcare. It covers key areas including child development, physical activity and nutrition, supporting children with additional needs, partnership working, research, and legal requirements in childcare.

The qualification is delivered 100% online and self-paced, allowing learners to study flexibly. The course takes 6 to 12 months to complete, with learning platform access available for up to 12 months from enrolment. Learners must also complete a minimum of 30 hours of teaching practice.

The qualification requires a minimum of 40 credits and can support career development and progression within early years education and childcare.
